The module is intended for use in control and recording systems, digital signal processing systems with high demands on speed, volume of processed data, reliability and fault tolerance as an input / output unit of discrete signals.
The module receives values of the output signals from the CAN network that are transmitted to the discrete outputs, and also collects data from the discrete inputs of the module and transfers them to the CAN network.
The module works in the CAN network via the CANopen protocol and is always a slave. Therefore, there must be a network master in the CAN network, for example, a PC with a SCADA system running on it, a controller or a controller.

Connection to the module contacts by means of plugs with spring terminals type FKCT 2,5 / 4-ST from PHOENIX CONTACT (it is allowed to connect single-core and stranded wires with a cross section from 0.2 to 2.5 mm2). The necessity of completing the module with plugs is specified when ordering.
To connect a CAN termination resistor, a jumper must be installed between pins 13 and 14.
